Our Values

We believe that when women come together, and work towards a similar goal, something special and powerful is created. In a world filled with negativity and social pressure we are here to provide a positive space that empowers and educates women. Our community is built around the following core values.

Connection - We provide a space for women to connect, to find means of support and friendship. Whether online or inside the gym walls our members are connected to a larger support system they can do life with.

Growth - We LOVE to see women grow to become their best selves! And believe this is achieved by nurturing not only their physical health, but also their mental and emotional health. We educate our members on exercise, nutrition and general wellbeing - encouraging them to take the knowledge and skills they learn, and apply it to other aspects of their lives. We hope they will thrive not only as gym goers, but as mothers, sisters, employees, business owners and friends.

Good Vibes only - We pride ourselves on creating a "you can sit with us" environment that is welcoming, uplifting and celebrates our Pacific and Māori heritage. Whether it's our Coaches, our members or visitors alike, we hope each person who walks through our doors would be encouraged and feel the warmth of the CBA vibes!

Meet Our Coaches

Ash

Kia orana! I'm Ash, I am Cook Island and Māori. Māmā of two girlies, wifey and  small business owner. I started CBA in 2021 after giving birth to my second daughter. I wanted to bring more education to the fitness/nutrition space that I felt was lacking and also provide somewhere positive where my friends and I could train together. I love that CBA has grown to become a safe space for so many women. We have fun, we getter fitter and stronger and encourage one another to strive for better.

Rose

Kia ora I'm Rose aka 'Sergeant Rose' iykyk. Māmā of four and G'ma to two beautiful moko. I have been coaching for the past seven years - almost two of those years within our CBA community. My passion for coaching is driven by wanting to help women reach their full potential in their health and fitness journey. As someone who didn't have an active lifestyle until the ripe age of 30 - I believe it's never too late to start.

Cheye

Hi I'm Cheye, pronounced "shy". I am a mum of two and wife of one lol. I am passionate about helping women love or relearn to love their bodies. I have studied nutrition, and completed further study in nutrition for women's health & performance. I love coaching the nutrition side of things because I know many struggle in this area but I have recently stepped into coaching on the floor as well so you’ll see me around especially during lower body classes - they’re my fave!  x

Monica

Talofa Lava, My name is Monica (aka Nika) and I'm the newest coach on the block. I have been a certified Personal Trainer for the last 2-3 years. My passion for coaching stemmed from always seeing potential in the women I train with and then wanting to help them tap into their fit and strong girl era. I am also a mother to one beautiful baby girl and as a new-ish mom, trying to get back to the way I used to train, I always find comfort in knowing I’m walking into a gym that is forever empowering all women no matter where you are in your journey - “For women, curated by women.”

headshotTAMMY.jpg

Tammy

Kia ora everyone. My name is Tammy and I am of Māori descent. I've been coaching with CBA for a year now and prior to that a further two years. I have been involved in sports all my life and found a passion combining sports with teaching, in coaching. There is a strong focus on Hauora (the well-being) of the individual and this is one of the main focus points of being a coach at CBA. I absolutely love seeing our ladies smash their goals and have a good time doing it amongst other strong ladies within our community. Hope to see you at a session soon!
